The opportunity
Are you passionate about driving change fostering engagement and shaping a culture of continuous improvement At Hitachi Energy High Voltage Breakers in Ludvika we are looking for a Continuous Improvement Manager to lead and coordinate initiatives that strengthen collaboration reduce disruptions and enhance employee well-being. This is a key role in the organization and will ensure that strategic initiatives such as DtV and DDIP are successfully implemented across the unit.
How youll make an impact
- Coordinate improvement work across departments and act as a key contact for other Continuous Improvement Leaders (CIL).
- Drive and support initiatives such as Design-to-Value (DtV) and Data-Driven Improvement Program (DDIP) with a strong focus on cost reduction and minimizing disruptions.
- Inspire and engage employees and managers embedding continuous improvement into everyday practices.
- Visualize improvement strategies and project status using Boards on Fire ensuring transparent reporting and follow-up at factory and unit level.
- Present improvement progress regularly to employees and management in both Swedish and English.
- Contribute to training and workshops in problem-solving and improvement methodologies (Lean Six Sigma 5S root cause analysis).
- Provide indirect leadership to improvement managers and DtV/DDIP leaders supporting their development and success.
- Lead and develop the Breaker Challenge improvement program ensuring alignment with unit strategy and global goals.
Your background
- University degree in engineering business or a related field.
- Proven experience in continuous improvement Lean Six Sigma or similar methodologies.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage and inspire across all levels of the organization.
- Experience in coordinating cross-functional initiatives and driving change in complex environments.
- Analytical mindset with a focus on cost efficiency process optimization and employee well-being.
- Comfortable presenting and facilitating workshops in both Swedish and English.
- Ability to work independently while providing indirect leadership and guidance to colleagues.
- A collaborative and proactive approach with a passion for building a culture of improvement.
