Role Overview
We are looking for a Backend Developer to join acybersecurity-focused team in Lisbon. The professional will work mostly on-siteand be responsible for building and optimizing backend services ensuringperformance scalability and security across data-intensive applications.

Responsibilities
Develop test and maintain backend systems anddatabases ensuring high performance and reliability.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams todefine design and deliver new features.
Optimize system performance scalability andsecurity to support data-heavy applications.
Ensure clean maintainable and well-documentedcode following best testing practices.
Mandatory Requirements

Bachelors degree in Computer Science or arelated field.
Proven experience in backend developmentideally in scalable and high-performance systems.
Proficiency in at least one backend programminglanguage: Java orPython.
Strong knowledge of database systems (SQL/NoSQL)and cloud-based architectures.
Experience with distributed systems and backendservice design.
English proficiency: B2 or C1 (spoken andwritten).
Nice to Have
Familiarity with cybersecurity standardspractices or technologies.
Experience working in highly regulated orsecurity-focused environments.
Work Model
90100%on-site in Entrecampos(Lisbon) this is mandatory.
Full-time position within the cybersecuritysector.
