Meeting Street is currently looking for a Director of Early Intervention New Bedford for 40 hours per week.
Duties:
- Manages the Early Intervention Program and directs service provider staff to design and implement a supervisory system to ensure alignment with state and federal regulations for overall delivery of Early Intervention services and to develop strategic goals for service delivery and quality improvement.
- Completes all aspects of supervision with EI Clinical Supervisors and Medically Complex Consultation Programs (MC3).
- Designs and implements with other members of the management team an orientation and training program for all EI and MC3 staff which is reflective of Culturally Linguistic Acquired Services (CLAS).
- Implements systems for monitoring state and federal indicators through the case management review process and other CQI activities.
- Prepares and manages program budgets with the Assistant Director of Early Childhood Programs.
- Works with other community and state agencies to develop informal and formal agreements to ensure continuity of services for families.
- Conducts service coordination activities and provides direct service with families when necessary.
- Participates in community-based activities and outreach in support of the programs missions.
- Works cooperatively with the Department of Public Health on EI and MC3-related activities.
- Recruits trains and supervises EI Clinical Supervisors MC3 Consultants and support staff through the use of Reflective Supervision.
- Monitors staff performance and productivity on a regular ongoing basis.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in related field required (Advanced degree preferred) as well as appropriate licensure/certification in related field.
- A minimum of three (3) years related supervisory experience.
- A minimum of three (3) years related experience working with infants toddlers and families and direct supervisory experience.
- Experience in home visiting preferred.
- EI Qualified Personnel as defined in DPH EI Operational Standards or ability to meet such requirements.
- Valid CPR and First Aid Certification.
