Ofsted Childrens Residential Homes Manager(EBD)

This is a fantastic opportunity tolead from the frontand manage our childrens homes supporting young people aged 818 withEmotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD).
We welcome applications fromexperienced Registered Managers as well asstrong Deputy Managersready to take the next step with full support.
Dual Home Leadership
Oversee the day-to-day management of two EBD childrens homes (Birmingham & Leicester).
Lead support and develop staff teams to provide a therapeutic child-centred environment.
Maintain full compliance with Ofsted and Childrens Homes Regulations.
Care & Support Delivery
Design and manage personalised care plans meeting childrens emotional behavioural and developmental needs.
Promote structure emotional regulation and preparation for adulthood in a safe nurturing setting.
Safeguarding & Compliance
Take overall responsibility for safeguarding across both homes.
Ensure quality assurance through audits incident reviews and continuous improvement.
Staff Development & Culture
Recruit mentor and train staff while promoting a trauma-informed learning-focused culture.
Ensure staff feel valued supported and professionally developed.
Multi-Agency Working
Collaborate with local authorities social workers schools health professionals and families.
Represent both homes in reviews inspections and multi-agency meetings.
Operational Management
Manage rotas staffing budgets and resources effectively.
Ensure accurate documentation and regulatory compliance.
Experience supporting young people with EBD/challenging behaviours.
Proven management or strong deputy experience within childrens residential care.
Sound knowledge of safeguarding law Ofsted expectations and Childrens Homes Regulations.
Leadership resilience and decision-making skills to manage dual-site operations.
Requirements:
Level 4 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent).
Minimum 2 years in a senior role within childrens residential care.
Understanding of trauma-informed practice.
Full driving licence preferred.
Lead two homes in ahigh-impact rewarding role.
