Job Summary

Join Our Team as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner in Denver CO!

We are seeking dedicated Neonatal Nurse Practitioners to provide essential coverage at a respected medical facility in Denver. This location features a Level II and III NICU ensuring specialized care for our youngest patients. Enjoy a fulfilling role that includes both 24-hour in-house NICU shifts as well as 12-hour shifts in the Newborn Nursery (NBN)/Delivery with responsibilities that include attending high-risk deliveries and providing downtime coverage in the NICU.

Job Responsibilities:

Provide level II and III NICU coverage.
Attend all high-risk deliveries during 12-hour shifts.
Round on well newborns and assist in the Level III NICU as needed.
Deliver downtime coverage to a 24-hour NNP in the Level III NICU for 2-4 hours during the afternoon.
Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of patient care.

Qualifications:

Board Certified (not accepting Board Eligible candidates).
At least 6 months of clinical experience within the Neonatology specialty.
Minimum of a Masters Degree.
Active Colorado License or eligibility for a Compact License.
Must have been clinically active in the last year.
Completed Prescreen Questionnaire.
CV in MM/YYYY format with all gaps explained.

License and Certification Requirements:

Current APRN National Specialty Certification.
Active Colorado State License (or eligibility for Compact License).
