Job Summary
A dynamic manufacturing company is looking for an experienced Debtors Manager with a proven track record in managing a large and varied debtor portfolio. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented assertive and highly skilled in communication and accounting.
Responsibilities:
Oversee the full debtors function ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices and payments
Monitor debtor accounts and follow up on overdue balances
Prepare regular reports on debtor performance and outstanding balances
Implement and maintain effective credit control policies and procedures
Liaise with internal departments to resolve discrepancies and disputes
Requirements:
Minimum of 5 years experience in debtors management ideally handling large volumes and varied account sizes
Strong attention to detail and assertive approach to managing accounts
Excellent communication skills
Accounting literacy and understanding of relevant financial processes
