Job Summary

Role: SAP Payroll Configuration Consultant - USA Payroll Experience

Location:The Woodlands TX (Remote)

Duration: Long Term Contract

Experience: 12Years

Configuration & Implementation

Configure and deliver SAP Payroll (U.S.) solutions in alignment with approved business and functional requirements.

Support full-cycle payroll implementations including blueprinting configuration testing go-live and post-production support.

Collaborate with functional and technical teams to ensure solutions meet compliance and business needs.

Payroll Process Optimization

Manage payroll processes such as gross-to-net calculations taxation garnishments and retroactive accounting.

Support off-cycle payroll runs year-end processing and BSI Tax Factory configuration.

Conduct parallel payroll testing identify discrepancies and resolve issues efficiently.

Technical Enhancements & Maintenance

Develop and maintain custom rules (PCRs) schemas and user exits as required.

Apply SAP Notes support packs and perform regular system maintenance to ensure stability and compliance.

Troubleshoot system errors and perform root cause analysis for payroll-related issues.

Reporting & Collaboration

Prepare and deliver payroll reports including tax reporting wage types garnishments and third-party remittances.

Communicate progress risks and issues effectively with project stakeholders and management.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including HR Finance and IT for seamless payroll operations.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Strong hands-on experience in SAP Payroll Configuration (HCM or EC Payroll).

Strong knowledge of U.S. Payroll including federal state and local tax compliance.

Experience with BSI Tax Factory configuration and payroll tax updates.

Expertise in wage type configuration off-cycle payroll garnishments and retroactive pay.

Proven record of delivering at least 4 full lifecycle SAP Payroll implementations.

Excellent analytical problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

Strong communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively in remote and cross-functional environments.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Information Systems HR Finance or related field.

Experience with SAP Payroll Control Center (PCC).

Familiarity with SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central and integration with EC Payroll.

Knowledge of process automation and optimization tools
