Under the direction of the Branch Manager the incumbent assists with the daily operations of the branch and ensures rental equipment is available for orders.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintains a safe working environment by following Airgas/Red-D-Arcs health and safety guidelines.
- Provides excellent customer service to all accounts.
- Provides follow-up to leads that are sent to the area via Web Associations etc.
- Provides timely follow-up to customers requests.
- Ensures walk-in customers are handled in a timely manner including equipment returns.
- Processes credit card charges.
- Communicates daily with Outside Sales Associate on inquiries and/or orders received.
- Prepares quotes for outside sales and fax to clients as required
- Coordinates equipment requirements for efficient order fulfillment and cost containment.
- Plans and directs customer orders with the service department.
- Communicates with the service department and/or shop supervisor in regards to equipment shipments and arranges orders for shipment.
- Ensures proper generation of rental agreements and associated documents.
- Arranges freight and transportation.
- Assists with vendor purchasing.
- Assists with parts and equipment inventories.

Required Qualifications
Post secondary education equivalent to a college diploma.
More than three years of customer service experience in an industrial/rental environment is preferred.
Working knowledge of positioning equipment welding applications and equipment is an asset.

Leadership: Must be able to guide and mentor associates. Must be able to delegate and follow-up effectively.
Relationship Building: Must be able to communicate effectively.
Decision Making: Must be able to work independently while making decisions based on company policies and objectives.
Problem Solving: Must be able to proactively and methodically deal with conflicting goals and challenging situations.
