Teachers Assistant (TA) Student Employee

Scope of Responsibility
The School of Health Sciences and Wellness (SHSW) is hiring a student employee Teachers Assistant for FN 151. Student employee TAs will report to the instructor of record for all sections of FN 151 and complete work on a desktop computer owned by SHSW located in the College of Professional Studies Building.

Specific Duties

  • Access FN 151 Canvas course with student login credentials.

  • Take grading attendance directions from instructor of record.

  • Always maintain confidentiality of student identities and grades.

  • Access Canvas only when logged into the designated workstation for TAs in CPS room 231.

Skills/Requirements

  • Proficiency in Canvas and Microsoft Outlook.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Willingness to learn

  • Critical thinking

  • Confidentiality compliance (FERPA)

Qualifications and Compensation
To qualify for this position applicants must be in good academic standing with the University. The position requires the ability to work approximately 3 to 10 hours per week during the fall and spring semester. Hourly wage $14.00/hour.
