Job Title:- Assistant Nurse Manager
Location:- White Plains NY 10601
Duration:- Permanent full time
Shift:- Days
- Assures the delivery of quality department /clinical services in accordance with established hospital and regulatory/accreditation agency standards.
- Promotes a positive and professional image and is a role model coach mentor problem solver and resource for staff and peers.
- Responsible and accountable for the overall operations of their assigned department. This includes and is not limited to: development of department goals and objectives that are consistent with the hospital mission and strategic plan the management of personnel preparing/monitoring of and accountability for the department budgets.
- Responsible for management of FTE component of staffing budgets
- Maintains 24 hour responsibility for nursing care provided on the unit
Education & Experience Requirements
- Current NY State License
- BSN required or be matriculated in a BSN program with plan for graduation by 1/1/2022 if hired prior to 2016 and by 1/1/2020 if hired between 2016 and 1/1/2018 and discussed with the Senior Vice President of Patient Care Services/CNO .
- BLS certification (through American Heart Association) required
- ACLS certification (through American Heart Association) preferred unless required by employees in the dep
