Position Summary: The Electrician I is responsible for trouble shooting electrical systems up-grading electrical devices and equipment as well as general plant
facilities modernization.
Educational requirements:
Skills and experience:
Three to five years of manufacturing experience in the electrical craft
Three to five years work experience with troubleshooting decommissioning and installation of equipment
Good communication skills written and verbal
Meet license requirements for powered material handling equipment (Lift trucks JLGs Scissor Lift)
Basic computer aptitude
Essential duties:
Troubleshoot complex electrical systems with some electronics
Familiar with electrical systems including PLC DC/AC drives motors HVAC and power distributions
Estimate procure parts modify and install electrical equipment
Maintain housekeeping
Comply with safety rules including lock out/ tag out procedures.
Comply with environmental regulations
Be aware of departmental Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS)
Ensure ISO procedures are followed.
Understand and support Interface commitment to sustainability.
Perform other duties as assigned
