We are currently seeking aProcurement and Vendor Management Officerto join our Procurement team. This role will be critical in ensuring the delivery of materials and services to our customers.
What will you do:
Procurement & Vendor Management:
- Collaborate with approved vendors to optimize purchasing activities ensuring the best value in terms of cost lead times and quality.
- Solicit and assess quotes negotiate delivery conditions and monitor purchase orders.
- Foster strong relationships with suppliers while ensuring compliance with procurement policies.
- Oversee and process internal sales requests quotes and order entries.
- Work closely with internal departments to guarantee accurate order fulfilment.
- Deliver timely updates to stakeholders on lead times product availability and order progress.
- Assist internal customers by providing product information pricing details and necessary documentation.
Distribution & Logistics Coordination:
- Work in partnership with distribution associates to guarantee prompt and precise delivery of products.
- Monitor shipments and address any delivery problems or delays that may arise.
- Collaborate on logistics planning with warehouse or distribution teams to facilitate effective order fulfilment.
- Keep accurate records pertaining to shipments delivery receipts and inventory movements.
Data Reporting & Systems:
- Ensure the accuracy of data in ERP/Pylon.
- Develop and oversee performance reports for internal sales procurement and vendor metrics.
- Assist with system updates and digital transformation projects which include testing and documentation.
Requirements- Bachelors degree in Business Administration Finance Accounting Economics or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience with at least 2 years in similar role.
- Proficiency in ERP software (experience with Epsilon Net Pylon would be a plus) and MS Office (especially Excel).
- Proficient in the English language.
Soft skills:
- Outstanding analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Sharp attention to detail along with strong organizational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Capability to work effectively within a team setting.
- Proactive mindset with the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
