| Position Summary: | The Graduate Admissions Counselor is responsible for recruiting advising and guiding prospective graduate students through the admissions process. This individual serves as a primary point of contact for applicants and is committed to delivering exceptional service while meeting enrollment goals for graduate programs. Key Responsibilities: - Advise prospective students on admission requirements application procedures and program offerings. - Drive inquiries and started applicants to complete the process. - Review and evaluate applications for admission and make recommendations based on established criteria. Collaborate with program directors on borderline applicants. - Maintain communication with prospective students via phone email text and virtual platforms. - Collaborate with academic departments to ensure a seamless admissions process. - Track applicant progress and update CRM/database systems regularly. - Assist with the planning and execution of on-campus and virtual recruitment events. - Support admitted students through the enrollment process including orientation and registration. - Represent the institution at graduate fairs college visits and community events. |

| Minimum Qualifications: | - Bachelors degree required. - 1 year of experience in admissions higher education or a related field. - Strong interpersonal presentation and written communication skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Proficiency with Microsoft Office and familiarity with CRM systems (e.g. Slate Salesforce). - Willingness to travel and work evenings or weekends as needed. |
