Are you a Psychology Graduate with a passion for supporting children with special educational needs
We are seeking a highly motivated Psychology Graduate to join a school as an SEN Teaching Assistant. This role offers hands-on experience supporting pupils with additional learning needs and is ideal for aspiring educational psychologists clinical psychologists or future teachers.
Role Overview SEN Teaching Assistant:
- Provide tailored 1:1 and small group support to students with special educational needs
- Assist teachers in delivering inclusive lessons across a range of subjects
- Implement strategies to support social emotional and academic development
- Work alongside the SENCO and specialist staff to track pupil progress
Candidate Requirements Psychology Graduate:
- A 2:1 or higher in Psychology from a UK Top 20 University
- Strong understanding of child development learning and behaviour
- Empathy patience and resilience when supporting pupils with SEN
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team
Whats on Offer - Psychology Graduate:
- 450-500 a week (PAYE)
- Valuable school-based experience for those considering Educational Psychology or Teacher Training
