About the role :
Were hiring a Mid-Market Sales Development Representative to fuel our next stage of growth in the US market.
SDRs at Yuma AI are the engine of our GTM motion: you strategically engage mid-market prospects spark meaningful conversations and generate qualified pipeline for our Account Executives.
Youll work closely with Sales Cross Functions and Leadership and become an expert in both the CX automation space and modern outbound selling.
This is a Boston-based hybrid role (23 days/week in our office). Only candidates currently in the Boston area or willing to relocate will be considered. Professional-level English fluency (written & spoken) is required.
What youll do :
Generate new business opportunities through thoughtful personalized outbound outreach (cold calls targeted email LinkedIn video voice notes the full omnichannel playbook)
Conduct deep account research using Apollo HubSpot LinkedIn Lusha Clay and other modern tools
Identify and connect with senior decision-makers such as Heads of CX Heads of Support COOs CDOs and CEOs
Partner closely with Account Executives to build territory strategy and book high-quality discovery meetings
Master Yumas platform and the CX automation space to speak confidently about real merchant challenges
Experiment test and iterate on outbound tactics to continuously improve performance
Actively shape and reinvent Yumas outbound GTM playbook bringing new ideas and improving messaging sequencing targeting and channel mix
What were looking for :
6 months of SDR or BDR experience in an outbound-focused role
Professional-level English fluency. Excellent written and spoken communication is essential for this customer-facing role
Strong communication skills. You can write concise compelling outreach and hold confident conversations with senior leaders
SaaS experience or familiarity with modern sales tools such as Apollo HubSpot Clay and others is a strong plus
High drive grit and a self-starting attitude. You know how to push through iterate and keep momentum
Comfortable operating with autonomy in a fast-paced startup environment
Coachability. You actively seek feedback and implement it quickly
Goal-oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding activity and meeting-booking metrics
Positive attitude and team player. You bring energy curiosity and resilience every day
Compensation :
OTE $50000 - 70000 a year (Its uncapped of course the better you perform the more you earn!) equity
For compensation we set standard ranges for all roles based on function level and geographic location benchmarked against similar-stage growth companies. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries across US locations. Within the range individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors including job-related skills experience and relevant education or training.
