Job Summary

About the role
Were seeking Mechanical Trade Assistants/Labourers to join a major construction project in this long-term role youll assist mechanical fitters and other trades onsite with plant construction assembly and installation works.

Key Responsibilities

Assist trades with construction and assembly tasks
Unbox and prepare components from workshop
Bolt on spools fit instrumentation and assemble parts
Operate hand and power tools safely
General site labouring as required

Qualifications/Experience required

Mechanically minded or strong construction/concreting background
White/Blue Construction Card
Confident using hand and power tools
Willing to work alongside trades onsite

Highly regarded (not essential)

Working at Heights
Rigging or Dogman ticket
Telehandler or EWP licence

Whats on offer

$45/hr penalties super
Daily travel allowance $27.52
MondayFriday 6am4:30pm
Project through Dec 2025 (with 2026 potential)
Stable long-term construction project
