Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive medical care to pediatric patients
- Conduct physical examinations and diagnose illnesses

- Document patient care activities accurately and promptly

Requirements
- Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree
- Current medical license to practice in the state
- Strong interest in pediatrics and child healthcare
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Basic understanding of pediatric care principles
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional development
Schedule: 24-hour call 7a-7a
Level II Nursery
Daily Volume: 4-6 newborns and 0-1 pediatrics
Daily Admits: 2-4 newborns and <1 pediatric
Duties: ED consults rounding on inpatient pediatrics and newborns stabilizing and transferring critical patients
Required Procedures:Lumbar punctures intubations umbilical lines neonatal resuscitation; no circumcisions
EMR:Patient Keeper
Must be board-certified or board-eligible
