The Occupational Therapist provides skilled therapy services to patients focusing on improving their ability to perform daily activities. The role involves patient assessment treatment planning and collaboration with the healthcare team to achieve optimal patient outcomes. The therapist will work with a daily patient load of 7 and must be proficient and independent.

Location:Apple Valley California United States
Responsibilities:
- Assess patients physical and functional abilities.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Provide therapeutic interventions to improve motor skills coordination and independence.
- Collaborate with physicians nurses and other healthcare professionals.
- Document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
- Maintain a clean and safe therapy environment.
- Participate in continuing education and professional development activities.

Required Skills & Certifications:
- Active Occupational Therapist license in the state of practice.
- Sufficient experience to be proficient and independent.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Preferred Skills & Certifications:
- Experience in an acute care hospital setting.
- Experience with Epic charting systems.
