Job Summary:
A Pediatric Physical Therapist is needed for a 12-week contract in an outpatient setting. The therapist will be responsible for providing physical therapy services to a pediatric patient population with an average daily caseload of 6-7 patients. The role requires experience with pediatric patients and the ability to work in a multidisciplinary rehab team.

Location:Rockville Maryland United States
Responsibilities:
- Provide physical therapy services to pediatric patients in an outpatient setting.
- Evaluate patients physical condition and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Implement treatment plans including therapeutic exercises manual therapy and other interventions.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
- Collaborate with other members of the multidisciplinary rehab team.
- Document patient care services in Cerner.
- Maintain productivity expectations of billing 25 hours per week while scheduled for 29 hours.

Required Skills & Certifications:
- Active Physical Therapist license.
- BLS certification.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working with pediatric patients.

Preferred Skills & Certifications:
- Experience with Cerner documentation system.

Special Considerations:
- Teaching hospital environment.
- RTO restrictions: maximum of 6 days; if a full week is taken an extra week must be added to the end of the contract.

Scheduling:
- Monday-Thursday 8:30 AM - 6:30 PM preferred but open to 5 days per week if needed.
- 40 hours per week guaranteed.
