Perform technical support duties in law enforcement fire and emergency medical services communication which includes the reception monitoring and transmission of oral messages over a variety of communication networks and systems. Work in stressful fast paced and rapidly evolving situations working rotating shifts including nights weekends and holidays. Must be able to type 40-wpm and ability to read and follow written and oral instructions.
Requirements
Must be 21 years of age or older. No felony convictions on record and no misdemeanor convictions within one year of application. Valid Oregon drivers license with insurance. Must possess or be able to acquire within eighteen months of initial appointment a Basic DPSST certification and Emergency Medical Dispatch certification. Valid First Aid and CPR certification desirable but not required.
