Job Summary


Summary / Objective
Responsible for preparing credit assessments and managing administrative matters related to credit.




Essential Functions

  1. Review credit applications and supporting documentation including appraisal and environmental reports rent rolls lease agreements preliminary title reports financial statements tax returns corporate documents and compliance requirements.

  2. Complete appraisal reviews for new loan applications.

  3. Prepare credit assessments for new proposals and renewals.

  4. Communicate with frontline teams to collect required documents and revise proposals as needed.

  5. Recommend commercial loan and trade service transactions in the GCMS loan system (collateral customer rating facility rating credit limit loan agreement and loan advances).

  6. Update Bankpoint for pipeline reporting and tracking of new loans.

  7. Conduct post-loan booking call-backs including completion of closing checklists.

  8. Participate in property inspections.

  9. Review loan documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with legal and bank policies.

  10. Perform additional duties and assignments as required.

  11. Adhere strictly to the Department/Banks code of ethics.

Supervisory Responsibility
None.




Physical Demands
Primarily a sedentary role requiring use of computers phones and other office equipment. Some walking and interaction with staff required.




Travel Requirements
Occasional travel for property inspections.



Required Education and Experience

  • Bachelors degree (B.A. or B.S.) from a four-year college or university.

  • Two to five years of related experience and/or training.

  • Equivalent combination of education and experience considered.


Additional Qualifications

  • Advanced English language skills.
