Job Summary and Responsibilities
As a PACU nurse with us you are expected to apply your nursing knowledge and skills in the recovery room and it doesnt stop there. Most patients never realize the part you played in getting them through one of their most vulnerable moments. Honoring your commitment to care for others is thanks enough. Our leadership is visible and the hospital is expanding its services.
Responsibilities:
- Apply cultural sensitivity to all patients caregivers and teams
- Develop and implement a nursing care plan for PACU patients
- Collaborate with other professionals to ensure rooms are prepped with necessary equipment and supplies
- Demonstrate kindness and compassion
Job Requirements
Minimum:
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
AZ RN license
American Heart Association BLS certification
ACLS certification
Preferred:
BSN
Professional certification in area of specialty
One year recent acute care experience
