Chucks Auto Parts Solutions is looking for a detail-driven organized and customer-focused Warranty Specialist to manage warranty claims for both used and remanufactured automotive parts. This role is critical in ensuring timely resolutions accurate payouts and proper recovery of credits and reimbursements owed back to Chucks. What Youll Do
Used Parts Warranty Responsibilities
- Manage the full warranty process in coordination with the Warranty Tech.
- Review and process claims opened by the Sales team.
- Ensure Warranty Tech contacts customers promptly and collects required videosphotos or documents.
- Follow up with customers when additional information is needed.
- Review labor hours rates and Mitchell documentation to confirm claim validity.
- Approve claims as payable once all requirements are met.
- Ensure defective parts are picked up inspected and fully processed before issuing payment.
- Apply credits to national account invoices when applicable.
- Process warranty payments through QuickBooks and document all work in Pinnacle.
- Ensure Chucks receives all credits reimbursements and checks owed from warranty-related situations.
- Close claims once fully resolved.
- Collaborate with Sales Manager for escalations judgment calls or nonresponsive customers.
Remanufactured Parts Warranty Responsibilities
- Manage all remanufactured part warranty claims in coordination with Sales Team.
- Open documentation-only claims and work directly with remanufacturers for diagnosis.
- Coordinate repairs replacements and customer communication with the reman company.
- Pay customers when appropriate and recover funds from remanufacturers.
- Ensure Chucks receives all reimbursement checks or credits for reman claims.
- Document the full process on work orders and maintain accurate PO tracking. PO procurement when needed for stock or customer satisfaction.
Update tracking spreadsheets and communicate with Accounts Payable as needed
