Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate flexible and dynamic Cardiac Sonographer with experience in Stress Echocardiograms to join our team at Epworth Geelong! You wont just be a Cardiac Sonographer youll be a key player in helping inpatients and outpatients for the Geelong region.

Youre an experienced Sonographer who thrives in friendly but fast pass environments and is passionate about health and precision care. You bring energy clinical expertise and a strong desire to keep learning and advancing. This is the place for you.

We are seeking a part time cardiac sonographer who will not only work with outpatients but also with inpatients that may be critically unwell that need to be taken for emergency cardiac procedures.

To be successful in the role you will have:

  • Demonstrated experience in performing and reporting both stress and resting echocardiograms
  • Able to work independently with a high standard of clinical reasoning skills in the performance of echocardiography procedures.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a high level of professionalism and reliability.

Qualifications :

  • Full accreditation with the Australian Sonographer Accreditation Registry ASAR is a mandatory requirement of this position
  • Applied science degree with relevant subjects or equivalent
