Job Summary:
We are seeking a Technical Compliance Associate on a 12-month fixed-term contract to join our Technical Services team in a dynamic fintech environment. This role supports the Technical Compliance Team by collating and inputting tax statement data researching corporate actions and ensuring accurate implementation within the Class application. Youll work on compliance-related projects data analysis and quality assurance while collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders.Responsibilities:
Research ATO Class Rulings and ASX announcements for corporate actions.
Implement corporate actions across test and production environments.
Input end-of-financial-year tax component data into the Class application.
Review tax statement templates for accuracy and raise JIRA tickets for fixes.
Liaise with providers to obtain tax information and report on project progress.
Conduct QA and analysis on tax statement ratios and corporate action data.
Participate in ad-hoc projects involving data analysis testing and automation.
Use SQL and API tools (e.g. Postman) for data extraction and workflow validation.
Maintain documentation in Confluence and Zendesk for processes and features.
Stay updated on Class Super software features and contribute to knowledge sharing.
Requirements:
Tertiary qualification in Accounting Business Commerce Finance IT or equivalent.
Strong analytical and research skills especially in financial data and corporate actions.
High attention to detail and accuracy in data handling.
Ability to work in a fast-paced deadline-driven environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Organised with strong time-management and prioritisation abilities.
Comfortable with data-driven tools and quick to learn new software (training provided).
Experience in accounting fund administration or financial services (desirable).
Familiarity with SQL APIs and MS Excel for data analysis (advantageous).
Knowledge of Australian taxation principles and superannuation legislation (preferred).
