MEP Modular Design Engineer

Key Responsibilities Modular MEP Design and Engineering

• Design and develop integrated MEP systems for modular construction projects ensuring compliance with relevant building regulations and standards.
• Prepare detailed drawings schematics and technical documentation for prefabrication assembly and installation of modular building services.
• Create high-quality 3D MEP system designs in Revit/Fab CAD.
• Coordinate with structural and architectural teams ensuring smooth BIM integration accurate model exchanges and on-time delivery.
• Lead modular coordination and clash detection in Navisworks.
• Prepare HVAC shop drawings ventilation and chilled water layouts and perform duct & pipe sizing calculations.
• Design MEP modular frames and prepare cut sheets for modular fabrication.

Required Skills Modular Building Services Engineering

• Strong technical skills in MEP design with a comprehensive understanding of modular construction methods and processes.
• Demonstrated proficiency with AutoCAD Revit MEP and BIM modelling software.
• Effective communicator able to articulate design concepts and technical information clearly to colleagues clients and suppliers.
• Excellent organisational skills capable of managing multiple project priorities and meeting tight deadlines.
• Adept at problem-solving with the ability to troubleshoot complex design challenges and implement practical solutions.
• Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality coordinated technical outputs.

Qualifications & Experience MEP Engineering and Modular Design

• Bachelors degree in Mechanical Electrical Building Services Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years experience in an MEP design role ideally with exposure to modular or offsite construction projects.
• Experience producing technical drawings calculations and documentation for modular building services systems.
