Assisting the Medical Department in supervising Inmates assigned to the medical area.
Ensures the safety security and sanctity of the medical area and of non-security staff assigned to the medical area while also maintaining Security Custody and Control.
Responsible for the overall security of the area while on duty.
Performing random frisk searches of Inmates that enter and exit the medical building.
All other duties as assigned in accordance with the Post Orders.

Minimum and Additional Requirements

SCDC Minimum Requirements:

Must be a U.S. Citizen
18 years of age or older
High school graduate or GED
Must possess a valid drivers license
Tattoos: Must not be offensive and/or gang related or visibly located on the face or head. Tattoos on the neck will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
Cannot have been convicted of a crime with a maximum allowable sentence of one year or more or a fine of $1000.
Must pass a physical examination administered by SCDC.
