Technical Analyst Independent Contractor (Remote Sydney Time)

Are you a technically minded problem-solver with a passion for coding data analysis or scientific research Our client a leading consulting firm specializing in R&D tax incentives and technical project reporting is looking for a Technical Analyst to join their fully remote team.

The Role

As a Technical Analyst youll apply your developer coding or scientific skills to analyze client R&D data and create structured insightful reports. This is a role for problem-solvers who enjoy breaking down complex systems debugging challenges and translating technical data into clear outcomes.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering Computer Science Data Science or a related technical/scientific field

  • Experience in coding/scientific analysis or technical problem-solving

  • Strong programming or scripting skills (Python R MATLAB SQL or similar)

  • Ability to analyze complex datasets and extract actionable insights

  • Strong understanding of R&D processes experiments or technical projects

  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills

  • Attention to detail and accuracy

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze technical or scientific data from client R&D projects

  • Convert complex information into clear structured and actionable reports

  • Ensure accuracy consistency and compliance in documentation

  • Stay current on R&D trends coding practices and scientific methods

  • Provide updates on project progress and key insights to management

Requirements





Required Skills:

Holds a degree in Engineering Computer Science or a related technical field Minimum 3 years of experience in technical analysis R&D or a similar role Experience documenting or reporting technical information Demonstrates ability to work independently Can clearly explain a technical project or task in writing


Required Education:

3 years of hands-on Salesforce administration experience preferably in a high-growth SaaS or data-focused ability to design custom workflows flows and with Salesforce Lightning Flows and Process with Revenue Operations sales processes and pipeline understanding of CRM data architecture API integrations and reporting best practices.
