ABOUT THE ROLE
Customer Success Insight teams at NIQ act as strategic partners to our clients helping them respond faster to changing market dynamics. We work across FMCG and Tech & Durables industries transforming complex data into clear actionable insights that support category strategies and business decisions critical to our clients success.
We are looking for a motivated Senior Insight Analyst to join our Western Europe Insights Center of Excellence - a team supporting some of the largest global and regional clients. You will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and external clients in the Western Europe markets helping them make better strategic decisions based on research sales and e-commerce digital shelf data.
In this role analytical expertise goes hand-in-hand with operational rigor. You will lead insight generation shape client narratives and support smooth delivery processes that ensure high-quality outputs for our clients.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Insight Leadership
Become the trusted market expert in selected categories and industries
Analyze complex datasets (including ecommerce shelf and retail measurement data) to ensure accuracy consistency and insight-ready quality
Identify trends patterns and growth opportunities; translate them into actionable recommendations tailored to client needs
Develop fact-based answers to complex business questions and provide forward-looking perspectives
Create compelling market presentations with clear storytelling adapted to technical and non-technical audiences
Client Engagement and Collaboration
Build strong relationships with clients and internal teams to shape category strategies and guide decision-making
Partner with consultants and commercial teams on client presentations and strategic initiatives
Mentor more junior team members when needed supporting knowledge sharing and analytical development
Contribution to NIQ
Participate in/lead internal strategic projects that advance team capabilities and client impact
Bring curiosity accountability and strong business acumen to both client and internal initiatives

REQUIREMENTS
University degree in Business Marketing Economics Statistics or a related field
3 years of experience in Retail Market Research Consulting Product Management or a similar analytical role
Previous experience or familiarity with e-commerce is a plus.
Experience with NielsenIQ and/or GfK data and systems is an asset
Fluent communication in English - verbal and written (at least C1)
Very good command of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail.
Proven ability to make sound decisions solve complex problems and manage priorities in a client-focused environment
Strong interpersonal skills and ease of working in a multicultural and virtual setting
