To thrive in this rolewereseeking candidates witha minimum of 5 years of Software Engineering experience coupled with a strong background in Angular to lead the migration from Adobe ColdFusion to a modern Angular.
About the project:
Leading national online destination for durable medical equipment (DME) as part of its ongoing commitment to customer experience performance and scalability is modernizing its custom-built e-commerce platform by migrating from Adobe ColdFusion to a modern Angular frontend with a .NET Core backend.
Requirements:
7 yearsof professional front-end development experience.
5 yearshands-on experience withAngular 2 with strong understanding of:
Latest Angular features (Angular 1418) including:Standalone componentsSignalsTypedformsAdvanced change detection strategiesAngular Material & CDK.
RxJSand reactive programming
Component-driven architecture
Dependency Injection (DI)
Routing and lazyloading
Deep understanding ofTypeScript ES6 JavaScript HTML5 CSS3 SCSS.
Experience migrating legacy Angular applications (AngularJS/Angular <10) to modern Angular.
Strong knowledge ofREST APIs state management (NgRxRxJSservices) and modular architecture.
Experience withunit testingtools (Jasmine Karma Jest Cypress or Playwright).
Strong communicationand collaboration skills.
Ability to lead technical discussions and mentor team members.
Ownership mindset and proactive problem-solving abilities.
At least Upper-Intermediate English (both spoken and written).
Nice to have:
ProficiencywithGit CI/CD pipelines and build tools (Angular CLI WebpackNx).
Understanding ofperformance optimization techniques and browser behavior.
Familiarity with micro-frontend architecture and modularmonorepos(e.g.Nx).
Experience with cloud hosting environments (Azure AWS or GCP) is a plus.
Responsibilities:
Lead developmentefforts tomigrate legacy applicationsto the latest Angular framework versions.
Analyze existing codebasesidentifymodernization opportunities and propose migration strategies.
Developmaintain andoptimizescalable high-quality Angular applicationsusing modern features (Standalone Components SignalsRxJS7 Angular CLI etc.).
Collaborate with backend developers to integrate RESTful APIsGraphQLservices or microservices.
Ensure code quality throughunit tests integration tests and adherence to best practices.
Provide technical leadership perform code reviews and mentor junior/mid-level developers.
Optimizeperformance and accessibility across modern browsers.
Work closely with product and design teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes for front-end applications.

Schedule:5/2 8-hour working day (40hrper week) flexible schedule.Abilityto interact with New Yok time zone at least 4 hours a day
