Job Summary
As a Server engineer at Wix Restaurants youll work on a distributed product vertical that serves millions of users globally. Youll take ownership of challenging tasks from architecture to operations and contribute to scaling the system while integrating with 3rd-party systems and Wix your day-to-day you will
- Work on a product in the Restaurants Online Orders Menu and Inventory Management areas
- Work on a distributed product vertical built with TDD on Java and Scala
- Take ownership of continuous delivery directly to millions of users all over the world
- Cope with exciting challenges of scaling the system as well as integration with 3rd-party systems
- Handle all aspects of software development: architecture design development build deployment monitoring and operations
Qualifications :
- 5 years of experience in server development
- Experience using Java server-side technologies
- Interest in Scala or experience with it as well as an in-depth understanding of OOP SOLID and functional programming principles
- Passion for design TDD methodology microservices architecture and the ability to take responsibility and work independently
- Open-minded self-learner with a drive to stay updated with industry trends
- Familiarity with AI development tools and a curiosity about AI technologies
- Strong product mindset and ability to understand customer needs
- Quick development velocity and ability to deliver high-quality code
