The duties and responsibilities of the Operations Lead (TB) include:
- Operational Leadership & Planning
Lead operational planning for all TB activities ensuring alignment with project workplans donor requirements and implementation targets.
Develop and track operational KPIs budgets procurement timelines and implementation milestones in collaboration with the Program Director (TB).
Translate technical strategies into practical operational workflows for GPs health facilities CHWs pharmacies and partners.
- Partner Coordination & Field Support
Coordinate day-to-day operational collaboration with field teams and partners.
Maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders including private facilities vendors logistics providers and community leaders.
Support implementation teams in troubleshooting bottlenecks field logistics staffing challenges or operational risks.
Facilitate alignment of operational SOPs reporting compliance and resource use across all TB operations.
- Supply Chain Logistics and Procurement Oversight
Oversee and facilitate stock management systems logistics mechanisms and emergency stock arrangements.
Work closely with SCHs procurement and logistics teams to ensure timely and compliant purchasing distribution and inventory management of project related items.
- Operational Quality Compliance and Supervision
Ensure all operational activities follow SCH policies donor compliance rules and national regulations.
Conduct regular field supervision visits operational audits and performance checks.
Identify operational risks (e.g. access barriers security supply disruptions) and implement mitigation plans. Support conducting incident reporting asset management and operational documentation.
- Change Management & Process Improvement
Continuously assess process gaps inefficiencies and workflow challenges across TB operations.
Implement improvements using provider segmentation process mapping and lean operational methods.
Lead operational change initiatives including rollout of new procedures tools or systems.
- Coordination with Program Director (TB) and Senior Leadership Team
Provide routine implementation updates risk analyses and operational recommendations to the Program Director (TB).
Contribute to quarterly annual and ad-hoc donor reports.
Participate in donor review meetings representing operational perspectives.
Qualifications :
Education: Medical degree or Masters degree in Public Health Epidemiology Infectious Diseases Health Sciences or related field.
Experience:
Minimum 7 years of experience in TB programming or infectious disease management including at least 3 years providing operational leadership.
Proven experience overseeing large-scale field operations supply chains or multi1partner implementation. Experience working with private sector providers strongly preferred.
Experience implementing programs in conflict fragile or low-resource settings is an asset
Skills:
Strong leadership and team management abilities.
Excellent organizational planning and workflow design skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-changing environments.
Strong analytical and problem-solving capacities
Excellent communication skills in English and Burmese.
Ability to travel frequently to field locations.
