What You Will Achieve
The Infrastructure & Automation organization delivers excellence in the pursuit of those breakthroughs through industry-leading service performance. We ensure optimal performance of the network and hosting services that power Pfizers business processes. We strive to revolutionize service dependability by applying advanced analytics to drive predictive detection identifying potential issues with our services and intervening before they disrupt our business. We place data at the heart of what we do and apply a relentless focus on continuous improvement to enable Pfizers business processes and patient outcomes.
This role will be instrumental in transforming service data into actionable insights that drive transformation service reliability and continuous improvement. You will be responsible for harnessing data to drive actionable intelligence driving operational performance and enabling strategic decision-making.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
Define and implement the core performance measurements across all services.
Align analytics initiatives with organizational goals to enhance service reliability scalability and operational agility.
Develop intuitive dashboards and reports that provide both tactical and strategic views of service performance.
Lead and mentor a team of infrastructure professionals fostering a culture of collaboration and accountability.
Develop and implement predictive models to identify improvement areas anticipate service disruptions capacity constraints and performance risks.
Embed predictive and AI-driven capabilities into core processes.
Leverage AI to enable automated decision-making.
Define data requirements and ensure accuracy completeness and integrity of operational datasets.
Partner with data engineering and analytics teams to integrate diverse data sources and enable real-time analytics.
Conduct deep-dive analyses to identify trends root causes and optimization opportunities.
Translate insights into actionable strategies that drive continuous improvement and innovation.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align priorities and influence strategic decisions.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelors degree in data science business or related field with 7 years of relevant experience or Masters degree in data science with 5 years of relevant experience.
Data Analysis & Machine Learning Strong statistical analysis predictive modeling and ML algorithm expertise.
Proficiency in Python or R SQL and building scalable data pipelines.
Strong understanding of IT operations data (e.g. incidents changes monitoring metrics) and infrastructure KPIs.
Experience with anomaly detection forecasting and root cause analysis using AI/ML.
Experience creating insights dashboards and using visualization tools.
Ability to translate business challenges into data-driven solutions.
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills and ability to influence and motivate matrixed teams.
Outstanding analytical problem-solving and organizational abilities.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills; comfortable managing competing priorities within a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication skills able to translate data into insights and insights into action.
Comfortable working in cross-functional teams and collaborating with data engineers platform owners and service leads.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Background in infrastructure operations service management or performance analytics.
ITIL certified (Foundation v3 or v4)
Exposure to AIOps concepts and tools.
Work Location Assignment: Hybrid
