Your Role in the Story
As our Sales & Events Manager youll be at the heart of positioning launching and driving the success of these two unique hotels working closely with and under the guidance of the Cluster Sales Director. Youll ensure that every market segmentfrom luxury segment to wedding and event planningis reached with impact while maintaining the highest standards of brand presence revenue growth and client relationships.
This role is all about sales and events excellence with a creative edge: delivering results while creating meaningful partnerships exceptional storytelling and unforgettable guest experiences that define the LUURA brand.
Key Responsibilities
- Support and implement short- and long-term commercial strategies across all sales events and marketing channels to achieve revenue targets and market share goals in close alignment with the Cluster Sales Director.
- Assist in the development delivery and maintenance of the Annual Multi-Year Commercial Strategy Plan in collaboration with on-property leaders and cluster support.
- Align hotel performance needs with enterprise-level solutions from the Morgans Originals brand in each key market segment working alongside the Cluster Sales Director.
- Support the establishment of the optimal business mix and assist in reviewing and validating revenue forecasts for varying demand periods.
- Contribute to building retail group and events pricing strategies in collaboration with the Commercial Leadership team.
- Oversee event planning and execution including corporate events weddings conferences and private functions; be hands-on to ensure smooth operations before during and after each event coordinating all relevant teams.
- Optimize event-related revenue streams (room blocks catering audiovisual services) while ensuring operational excellence and guest satisfaction.
- Ensure compliance with contracts legal requirements and risk management procedures; coordinate with Cluster Sales Director and the legal team on sales and events policies and contracts.
- Produce review and maintain accurate agreements for all sales and events activities. Maintain relevant archives.
- Report to the Cluster Sales Director the sales and events-related revenue and expenses.
- Maintain detailed knowledge of competitor and market activity particularly in events and group offerings and propose strategies with the Cluster Sales Director.
- Maintain and nurture relationships with key clients and accounts ensuring long-term partnerships and repeat business.
- Work closely with Revenue Marketing and hotel leadership to coordinate promotions and campaigns.
- Support the Cluster Sales Director in aligning cross-departmental objectives to maximize revenue and guest satisfaction.
- Identify and pursue leads across all sales and events segments ensuring results and KPIs are met.
- Maintain momentum in business development by keeping active client and prospect lists.
- Be hands-on in running events coordinating activities and ensuring smooth execution before during and after each event.
- Maintain clean archives and organized folders including blueprints SOPs and training materials for sales and events in close collaboration with the Cluster Sales Director.
- Engage directly with clients and guests as needed to ensure superior service delivery.
- Maintain a high level of engagement with customers across all sales and events segments.
- Uphold etiquette professionalism and attention to detail when interacting with guests reflecting the intimate and service-driven nature of the property.
Qualifications :
Who Were Looking For
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Business Tourism Hospitality or a related field. Degrees in related social sciences (e.g. Psychology Communication) will also be considered.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in hotel sales manager position ideally in an international luxury hotel brand.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in hotel sales ideally in an international luxury hotel brand.
- Excellent English; additional languages are an advantage.
- Experience with CRM systems and sales reporting tools.
- Experience with PMS and Sales & Catering / Event Management system
- Strong understanding of hotel sales leisure travel trade and luxury hospitality standards.
- Excellent organizational analytical and administrative skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks manage multiple deadlines and work independently.
- Collaborative mindset with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proactive detail-oriented and energetic approach.
- Strong skills in reporting & analysis account follow-up contract administration time management problem-solving and customer service
- Eligibility to work at an EU country.
- Willing and able to travel internationally.
