Role Overview

As a Software Tester / Senior Software Tester you will play a key role in ensuring the quality performance and reliability of our software applications. You will design and execute test strategies collaborate with cross-functional teams and help drive continuous improvement across all QA practices.

About the Role

• Ensure quality functionality and performance of software through test planning and execution.
• Identify and report defects while working closely with developers to resolve them.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Report directly to the Assistant General Manager.

Job Responsibilities

Collaborate with the development team to understand project requirements.
Design develop and execute test plans and test cases.
Perform functional usability regression and performance testing.
Identify document and prioritise defects.
Verify and validate bug fixes with developers.
Maintain comprehensive bug reports and status updates.
Participate in design and requirement review meetings.
Stay updated on testing tools trends and best practices.
Contribute to improvements in QA processes and automation strategies.

Educational Qualification / Other Requirement:

Bachelors degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or a related field

Certifications in software testing (e.g. ISTQB CSTE) are advantageous

Experience with test management tools and version control systems is a plus

Familiarity with Agile and iterative development methodologies

Proficient in designing and executing test plans test cases and test scripts

Knowledge of various testing types (functional regression usability etc.)

Familiarity with testing tools and platforms

Basic understanding of programming concepts and databases
