Job Summary

Your Role

You will be working in our Development team located in Vilnius working very closely with our France and Denmark-based colleagues.

Develop new code for new feature functionality to support client requests or roadmap initiatives.
Update existing code for bug fixes.
Working on monthly releases and updates.
Work with Front end developers BA and other relevant teams to deliver performant resilient and secure code.
Assist team members in design discussions and decisions.
Perform code and design reviews with other team members.
Work with the support organization to respond to and investigate customer issues.
Produce documentation for the work done so support and other members of the team understand the changes to the product.
Interact with the Testing Specialist to define test plans and test data; identify reproduce and document defects; fix and verify defects.

Qualifications

5 years of practical experience as a Java software developer working on back-end solutions;
Knowledge of TCP/IP connection programming;
Experience with DevOps tools (e.g. GitLab CI Jenkins Jira);
Knowledge of testing frameworks (e.g. JUnit);
Experience with SQL databases;
Able to work independently and take ownership and responsibility;
Clear communication with stakeholders about functions features requirements etc;
Strong analytical thinking to optimize code and systems;
Fluency in English.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience of ISO 8583 ISO 20022 EMV 3-D Secure protocol;
Understanding of Open API principles;
Knowledge of containerization and virtualization technologies (e.g. Docker Kubernetes);

Knowledge of JavaScript frameworks and libraries (e.g. React Angular) preferred;
Experience in a payment industry;
Bachelors or Masters degree or payment industry qualification.
