This is a permanent full-time role commencing 12th January 2026
The working hours are 70 per fortnight
Rostered weekend work is a requirement of this role.

As a Library Officer youll contribute to delivering excellent library services connectingwith community and helping us create a welcoming engaging and inspiringlibrary experiencefor everyone.
Key activities that youll be doing:
Deliver exceptional customer service to a diverse community ensuring every visitor feels valued.
Deliver fun and interactive programssuch asEarly Literacy Programs Book Chats and more.
Help keep the library engaging organised and welcoming by supporting collection maintenance shelving materials and creating eye-catching displays.
Be a key contributor by providing suggestions to inform the development of library policies initiatives and procedures with a focus on continually improving the user experience.
Share your love for books by recommending fantastic reads and helping others explore our librarys collection.
Collaborate with a passionate team to ensure the library runs smoothly and fosters a positive welcoming atmosphere.
The ideal candidate has:
Strong communication and customer service skills
A collaborative spirit and a commitment to community engagement
A love for working with people of all ages
A growth mindset and willingness to adapt to change
A solutions-focused attitude and the drive to overcome challenges
