The Derbarl Yerrigan Health Service (DYHS) was established in 1974 and is the largest Aboriginal community-controlled health service provider in Western Australia providing care to over 20000 Aboriginal patients across four clinics in East Perth Mirrabooka Maddington and Midland. Our staff enable the delivery of culturally responsive primary health services focusing on prevention early intervention comprehensive care and care coordination including chronic disease management. We are in an exciting phase of growth innovation and service transformation and were seeking an exceptional medical leader to help shape the next chapter.
The Opportunity
We are seeking a highly experienced Chief Medical Officer (CMO) to oversee clinical governance lead our multidisciplinary medical workforce and strengthen the delivery of high-quality culturally grounded primary health care. As our most senior GP you will balance 50% clinical practice with 50% strategic leadership governance and relationship management ensuring our clinics operate at the highest standards of safety quality and community-centred care. This role is ideal for a medical leader who is passionate about Aboriginal health committed to excellence and ready to influence system-wide outcomes.
