Experienced agile Product Owner leading a development team focused on the maintenance and strategic development of Digital Applications on Institutional Investor Passport. Responsible for Product Management Lifecycle activities on our Digital Platforms and executing on strategy for the COO Enterprise Digital Solutions group as outlined by the Lead Product Manager. The senior product manager will also perform launches and post launch assessments/ recommendations. Acts as a resource for direction training and guidance for less experienced staff.

Major Duties:

  • Introduce new capabilities and technology enhancements to the market by leading a development team in the role as an agile Product Owner.
  • Own create and maintain a well-defined transparent product backlog.
  • Act as the liaison between the stakeholders management scrum team and scrum of scrum team.
  • Partner with Technology Leads to ensure recommended roadmap is feasible and aligns with corporate technology strategy.
  • Create strategies for cross-program coordination and go-to market rollouts.
  • Carries out complex initiatives involving multiple disciplines and/or ambiguous issues.
  • Displays a balanced cross-functional perspective liaising with the business and technology to improve efficiency effectiveness and productivity.

Knowledge :

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills are required. Proficient in constructing/overseeing logical and conclusive presentations distilling complex subject matter into management-ready materials.
  • Knowledge of all products or business areas within an umbrella mastery of 2-4 and/or SME ability in 1 and a strong understanding of client needs and how this impacts the product development agenda/roadmap.
  • Excellent in building key relationships influencing and negotiating with partners and leaders across multiple disciplines.
  • Program or project management experience is advantageous; planning analysis design and governance.
  • Knowledge of business strategy development is necessary to provide long term planning and to manage the profitability/performance of a major business segment.
  • Leadership and organizational skills are required to determine the Business Units goals resources needed and to assess and develop the skills of staff.

Experience:

  • A College or University degree and/or relevant proven work experience is preferred.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience.
  • Must have direct experience in working in agile and with product management.
