The Opportunity:
Mattel is currently seeking a Manager to join the Strategy and Corporate Development team at our El Segundo CA headquarters. Each member of this high-performing team plays a key role in shaping the future of Mattel.
This role is focused on M&A and Corporate Development working closely with the Chief Strategy Officer and Senior Director of Corporate Development to support the development and execution of Mattels M&A and strategic growth initiatives. The Manager will help manage a pipeline of potential acquisitions partnerships and other strategic opportunities support due diligence and financial modeling and work with cross-functional teams throughout the organization.
This position offers:

What Your Impact Will Be:
- Work closely with the Chief Strategy Officer and Senior Director of Corporate Development to evaluate and execute potential mergers and acquisitions divestitures and strategic partnerships.
- Maintain and monitor M&A pipeline
- Lead and support deal diligence efforts including coordinating cross-functional internal diligence teams and external advisors
- Develop integration and value creation plans and partner with acquired companies to ensure post-deal success
Qualifications :
What Were Looking For:
- BA / BS degree from a top-tier university.
- 7 years of total professional experience (or 5 with MBA) with 2 years of post-MBA or equivalent work experience in investment banking or private equity.
- Deep experience across the full deal lifecycle including origination due diligence valuation negotiation closing and post-deal integration planning and execution
- Advanced financial modeling and valuation skills including proficiency with DCF trading comparables precedent transactions and accretion/dilution analysis
- Track record of impact.
- Proven strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work successfully in cross-functional teams and manage complex stakeholder groups.
- Superior communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- MBA or equivalent advanced degree
- Consumer Tech and / or Entertainment industry experience
- Demonstrated a growth mindset by staying curious and continuously learning embracing challenges and improving themselves.
*The pay range is indicative of projected hiring range however base pay will be determined based on a candidates work location skills and experience.
