Were looking for a dedicated and skilled Chef to join our team at Juniper Korumup in Albany in a permanent fixed-term position covering parental leave.
In this role youll be responsible for preparing high-quality nutritious meals tailored to meet the dietary needs of our residents. Working alongside a supportive team of catering staff youll ensure all food service operations align with Junipers policies and procedures maintaining the highest standards of safety hygiene and meal presentation.

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook food
- Clean cooking areas and equipment
- Maintain safe food hygiene practices
- Manage resources includes ordering and stock control
- Manage staff supervision and delegation as required
- Ensure compliance with Occupational Safety and Health requirements
- Act in accordance with the continuous improvement of the facility engaging with residents and attendance at facility based resident meetings
Key requirements:
- Trade certificate / Cert 3 or equivalent qualification - desired
- Experience in commercial cooking environment and/or aged care catering - essential
- Current knowledge of Food Safe Plus practices and Hygiene standards quality system requirements & the principles of relevant aged & resident care legislation
- Knowledge of dietary nutrition for the aged
- Understanding of infection control
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
