Job Summary

Summary Of Position
Under the administrative supervision of designated supervisor advise and counsel students in relation to academic programs; Design and administer appropriate programs services and activities that assist students with academic planning.

Other Minimum Qualifications
Bachelors degree and 2 years of experience in academic counseling or related experience required; Masters in Education Counseling or related student service area preferred; strong interpersonal skills and communication techniques; Ability to work in a collaborative team environment; Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects; Experience in a university advising office.

Student service orientation and a continuous improvement philosophy. Proven ability to work in a way that honors diverse cultures ideas perspectives and people. Strong computer skills such as word processing calendaring e-mail Internet spreadsheets database management presentation software website content management systems and other applications as required by college.
