Penrith City Council is looking to employ committed enthusiastic and passionate individuals to undertake a 12-month traineeship in Business Administration. Your positive attitude willingness to learn and strong customer focus will ensure you are successful in securing one of these exciting opportunities
As a Business Administration Trainee you will complete a Certificate III in Business whilst gaining valuable information and industry experience in a supportive environment. The traineeship will commence in early 2026.
Business Administration Trainees undertake a range of functions to make sure the administration activities within our organisation run smoothly and effectively.
Essential criteria
Commencing salary: $827.40 - $947.70 per week plus 12% Superannuation.
You will be required to undertake employment checks which may include a Criminal History Check Qualification Check Working with Children Check Medical Declaration and/or a Functional Test as relevant to the position for which you have applied. Where a Criminal History Check is required and has returned a result that indicates disclosable court outcomes you will be required to provide a copy of the report to Penrith City Council for review in order to progress through the recruitment process.
In addition to a cover letter and resume applicants are required to submit comprehensive responses to theselection criteria (listed above) as a part of their initialapplication. Applicants who do not meet the essential criteria will not be considered.
