Description

As an independent decision maker the Product Owner directs the work related to the analysis development and testing resources associated with one or more agile teams. The Product Owner is responsible for the definition of work in the Product backlog and for the prioritization of that work for their assigned team(s) meaning they are responsible for determining when product and application functionality is released. The Product Owner collaborates with the Product Manager to help formulate strategies to maximize revenue/retention and minimize risk of their assigned products. The Product Owner maintains on-going relationships with their stakeholders and conducts research in order to continuously make informed decisions.

Day to Day

  • Represent the business by defining feature requirements prioritizing the backlog and ensuring relevant teams clearly understand what is being delivered and why.
  • Collaborate with product owners and SMEs across the group to identify dependencies mitigate roadblocks and ensure the timely release of features.
  • Manage and update the roadmap to set expectations for stakeholders on the delivery of new features. Make sure stakeholders are regularly updated on the status of development roadblocks milestones and releases.
  • Serve as product ambassador internally and externally sharing knowledge and answering questions.
  • Participate in Squad and Area ceremonies such as backlog refinement sprint review sprint planning and other heartbeat meetings.
  • Coordinate end-to-end user acceptance testing (UAT) as required.
  • Work closely with the development team providing clarifications resolving questions and ensuring timely and high-quality delivery of product increments.
  • Continuously monitor product performance analyze metrics and generate insights to drive data-informed product enhancements and optimizations.
  • Work with Architecture/Tech Lead to refine features and user stories (PBIs) and design solutions that deliver value to the customer.
  • Review and Approve Demos provide feedback early and often to the team around development of features.

Essentials

  • Responsible for defining and prioritizing Compliance Requirements from Stakeholders and Regulatory Changes.
  • Responsible for understanding and translating Regulatory changes from different sources.
  • Define user stories for creating or updating rules capabilities and/or workflow
  • Able to provide sign off on Demos that Rules and Workflow are working as expected to ensure deployments to production are smooth and accurate.
  • Build strong relationships with Business Stakeholders and Users to Guide Future Product Vision and maintain consistent participation in necessary ceremonies such as refinement sprint review planning and demo meetings.

Applicable Pay Range

$103212.80- $154819.20

DLL is considering candidates in numerous locations. The pay estimate displayed represents the typical pay range for candidates hired for this position in the desired primary work location. Pay may be adjusted outside the projected range based on geographical differentiation as well as for any other lawful reason. Additional factors that may be used to determine your actual pay include your specific skills years of relevant experience you possess and other work-related qualifications. Many candidates may start in the bottom half of the applicable pay range especially those with less experience or qualification.

This position is subject to the terms of DLLs compensation plans and policies. Further the position includes all other benefits provided to DLL employees including healthcare benefits 401k matching vacation sick leave parental leave possible discretionary bonuses and all other benefits that are all governed by and subject to ERISA plan documents and eligibility.
