Job Summary

Title: Application Management Specialist

Location: Location: Dallas TX

Duration: 6 Months with possible extension

Local Candidates only.

Day to Day job Duties: (what this person will do on a daily/weekly basis)

Develop and implement solid scalable and flexible solutions to support clients migrating and transforming from commodity hardware to Oracle Exastack.
Partner with our Sales organization to help sell Exastack related services by providing pre-sales support activities such as drafting proposals providing effort estimations and participating in client presentations
Collaborate with internal teams and interact with customers to find solutions for projects and operational issues for existing and proposed Oracle Engineered Systems (Exadata Exalogic and Super Clusters)
Leverage extensive Oracle implementation experience to lead the delivery of the Exastack specific engagements
Engage Oracles sales alliance and product teams to develop joint solutions and go to market activities

Basic Qualifications: (what are the skills required to this job with minimum years of experience on each)

Minimum 8 years of experience across the entire enterprise data center stack from the hardware to the application layer at major consulting firm or systems integrator
Minimum 3 years of experience conceptualizing and architecting the target environment for Oracle Exastack
Minimum 2 years of experience supporting professional services sales cycle including proposal development RFP responses and account expansion initiatives
Travel: This position requires someone who can travel at least 80%. Preferred location is East coast or Midwest.
Degree: Bachelors in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
