Role Overview

Our client is seeking an Account Manager to support their growth and client partnerships in South Africa. The role requires a balance of commercial drive client relationship management and project coordination.

The successful candidate will work closely with our clients Sales Director and coaching team to develop new business nurture existing client relationships and coordinate the delivery of coaching programmes.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Business Marketing Communication Psychology or related field.
  • 24 years experience in B2B sales account management or business development ideally within training consulting HR or professional services.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; confident in presenting to senior stakeholders.
  • Proactive organised and comfortable managing multiple priorities.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a relationship-driven approach.
  • Passion for human performance leadership and learning & development.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and prospective organisations.
  • Support the full commercial process: prospecting proposal development negotiation and follow-up.
  • Coordinate with internal coaches and facilitators to ensure seamless programme delivery.
  • Prepare client presentations proposals and contracts.
  • Update and manage the CRM system (HubSpot) to track all client interactions.
  • Assist with event coordination marketing initiatives and client communication.
  • Identify opportunities for client growth and long-term partnership development.
