Job Summary

This is a remote position.

We are looking for a knowledgeable and energetic Freelance Weight & Strength Training Instructor to conduct effective virtual strength-based workout sessions. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in resistance training safe exercise techniques and the ability to guide clients of different age groups and fitness goals through clear online instruction.

Job Description

  • Conduct live online strength and conditioning sessions for individuals or small groups.
  • Demonstrate exercises with correct posture form and breathing techniques.
  • Create balanced workout sessions focusing on:
    • Resistance training
    • Body weight training
    • Mobility & flexibility
    • Functional strength
  • Provide modifications based on client limitations injuries or fitness goals.
  • Ensure safety guidelines for all movements preventing strain or injury.
  • Track client progress and offer guidance on consistency recovery and training habits.
  • Prepare session plans warm-up routines and cool-down segments.

Requirements

Educational & Professional Qualifications

  • Certification from any recognized fitness body (e.g. ACE ISSA NASM ACSM K11 etc.).
  • CPR/First Aid certification (preferred but not mandatory).
  • Degree/diploma in Physical Education or Sports Science is an added advantage.
  • Prior experience in strength or resistance training instruction (online or offline).
Required Skills
  • Excellent knowledge of strength training techniques and exercise science.
  • Ability to demonstrate movements clearly on camera.
  • Strong understanding of posture correction and injury-prevention methods.
  • Clear communication motivational teaching style and positive attitude.
  • Ability to create effective workout plans based on goals: toning muscle gain endurance functional fitness etc.
  • Professionalism punctuality and consistency in delivering sessions.

Technical Requirements

  • High-speed stable internet connection suitable for live video sessions.
  • High-quality webcam and microphone/headset.
  • Quiet well-lit space to demonstrate full-body movements.
  • Familiarity with Zoom.
  • Ability to use timers on-screen cues or fitness apps for structured delivery.

  • Ability to adapt sessions for different fitness levels without categorizing them.

  • Reliable self-driven and committed to client results.
  • Experience training clients online is a plus.
