Bundy Pies Bakery is a proudly local family-run Queensland bakery known for fresh artisan breads award-winning pies and a commitment to quality. Were expanding our production team and seeking an experienced Baker to join our friendly crew.
About the Role
Were looking for a skilled Baker who can produce high-quality baked goods consistently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment. This position involves early-morning shifts and hands-on production work.
Key Responsibilities
Mixing kneading and preparing doughs for pies bread pastries and specialty products.
Baking and cooking a range of bakery items using commercial ovens and production equipment.
Monitoring product quality adjusting baking processes and maintaining consistent standards.
Preparing fillings glazes toppings and finishing baked products.
Ensuring food safety and hygiene standards (including maintaining a clean workspace).
Following daily production schedules and assisting with stock rotation.
Operating and maintaining bakery machinery and tools.
Requirements
Qualification in baking or commercial cookery (Certificate III in Baking or equivalent) or relevant industry experience.
Demonstrated experience in a commercial bakery environment.
Strong understanding of baking methods dough development and oven management.
Ability to work early mornings weekends and within a team environment.
Reliable punctual and passionate about producing high-quality baked goods.
