Assistant Manager Halfway Hotel
Were on the hunt for our next Assistant Manager to help keep the Halfway Hotel buzzing and loved by the locals.
The Halfway Hotel is situated on Port Road on the main strip of Beverley north of the Adelaide CBD.
it is a local treasure and iconic building that has played host to families friends locals and visitors over many years. Our Bistro has a menu influenced by local suppliers and the very best of Adelaides produce. Weve built a reputation for serving some of best most succulent and delicious steaks around.
If the game is on you can bet our guests are able to watch it in our Sports Bar and with dedicated functions spaces we cater to all celebration and milestone events.
A day in the life of an Assistant Manager:
- Get to know the locals so well they think youre part of the crew
- Support the Publican to keep the pub running smoothly safely and with a great vibe
- Learn the ropes of being a Publican while leading a team of absolute hospo legends
- Handle hiccups before they turn into headaches
- Bring the energy the service and the smiles every single shift
- You enjoy one full weekend off each month because thats what youll get
Inherent requirements:
This is a hands-on role that involves manual handling and lifting as part of regular duties (e.g. moving stock kegs and deliveries). Applicants must have the ability to perform physical tasks safely and efficiently.
About you:
- Youve been around the bar bistro or gaming room block and maybe already done some supervising
- Youve learned from great managers and now youre ready to step up
- Youve got the confidence pride and people skills to be the face of the pub when the boss is away
- Youve got a current RSA and RSG/RCG as per state requirements
