Position Overview
The Sales Manager will be responsible for leading and managing the sales function of the Logistics Business Unit in Cambodia. This role focuses on driving revenue growth developing new business opportunities building strong client relationships and ensuring customer satisfaction in the logistics and supply chain market. The Sales Manager will develop and execute sales strategies to achieve business targets while building a high-performing sales team.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Strategy & Business Development
- Develop and implement sales strategies to increase market share and revenue in logistics services (freight forwarding transportation warehousing customs clearance etc.).
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in B2B and corporate sectors.
- Build strong pipelines and achieve monthly quarterly and annual sales targets.
- Research market trends competitors and customer needs to support business growth.
Client Relationship Management
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with key customers and partners.
- Negotiate contracts pricing and service agreements to ensure profitability.
- Provide excellent customer service and resolve issues promptly to maintain client satisfaction.
Team Leadership & Collaboration
- Lead train and motivate the sales team to achieve high performance.
- Set clear targets provide coaching and monitor team progress.
- Collaborate with operations customer service and finance teams to ensure smooth service delivery.
Sales Operations & Reporting
- Monitor sales performance prepare forecasts and provide regular reports to management.
- Manage sales budgets expenses and profitability.
- Ensure CRM systems and sales records are accurate and updated.
Market Expansion & Branding
- Represent the company at trade shows networking events and industry forums.
- Support marketing activities to enhance brand visibility and attract new customers.
- Contribute to the development of new logistics solutions tailored to client needs.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Business Sales & Marketing Logistics or related field.
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in sales with at least 3 years in logistics supply chain or freight forwarding.
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Strong knowledge of Cambodian logistics market and customer landscape.
- Excellent negotiation communication and presentation skills.
- Leadership experience with ability to build and manage sales teams.
- Proficiency in CRM tools and MS Office applications.
- Fluent in Khmer and English (Chinese is an advantage).
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Revenue growth and achievement of sales targets.
- Number of new clients acquired and retention of key accounts.
- Sales pipeline strength and conversion rate.
- Customer satisfaction and contract renewals.
- Sales team performance and development.
Salary: $1200- $1800
